Our opinion: With its culinary lexicon, the rules seem to be very complex at first reading. But quickly, we get into the game and the laughter is linked. You must not be a big fan of Alain Chabat’s game to appreciate its quirky side, on the contrary: some questions are the same as those on television, which can spoil the pleasure of certain connoisseurs.
What is it? This essential game consists of cards and a hourglass. It is played as a team during 3 rounds: guess the word/name registered on the most cards in a timely time, speaking, mimicking and freezing (in statue mode).
Our opinion: Can be played up to 12 people, Time’s Up is a safe bet for evenings with friends. Impossible not to finish the game by shouting at all costs, excited as chips to discover a word thanks to a completely wacky mime … Try it is to adopt it! For a meal with children, turn to the family version, with words suitable for all ages.
What is it? Each player receives 11 white cards on which a word or an expression is written. A credit card, which contains a text to a hole, is then drawn. Players must complete this sentence with one of their cards and create the funniest possible formulation. The funniest sentence wins the Channel.
Our opinion: Intended for people over 18, White Eating Coco is reserved for friends or families very open -minded … The sentences can indeed become salaries or sometimes of bad taste. But that’s all the interest of the game! An informed audience, who likes black humor, will have a very good evening.
What is it? Each guest receives a card on which 3 wacky challenges are written. The latter must be noted during the evening, without the other players guessing that this is a challenge. If you think that a friend is making his challenge, screaming “You blush!”.
Our opinion: It is an ideal game to liven an evening without stopping it. It is impressive and fun to see how some players bring their challenges and how much we can be fooled.
What is it? In this cooperative game, one of the guests must guess a mystery word. The others, without consulting each other, each write a clue on their easels to help the active player guess the word. Please note, you should not choose a too obvious index: duplicates are deleted.
Our opinion: Ultra-failed to understand, Just One allows you to have a good time without any headache, since there is neither loser nor winner here: everyone plays together. We quickly notice that we do not all think of the same way: certain clues, obvious for some, are incomprehensible for others.
What is it? A burglary has been carried out and 32 crocodiles are suspect. The goal: to find the culprit among them. To do this, the players are helped by criteria (gender, corpulence, color, glasses and hat) and must trust the direction that crocodiles indicate. As soon as a player thinks he has found the culprit, he must say the name of the suspect followed by “I stop you!”. Whoever arrested 3 burglars wins the game.
Our opinion: Rapidcroco is, at first glance, a little difficult to understand. But after a first round, the rules are assimilated and we can finally have fun. We like the very original concept, which allows you to sharpen your sense of observation and its speed. Good to know: there is a simplified variant to play with the little ones.
What is it? This game mixes the other’s knowledge game, Bingo and Morpion. Each round, a player becomes a leader and receives a theme and 12 words that he must classify by answering a question of type: “What animal do you hate the most?” The others try to guess their choices. Then, the leader is gradually revealing his ranking, allowing everyone to score points when the words revealed are aligned in their grid.
Our opinion: This game allows you to gently create the atmosphere. We have no idea of the fun debates that can be born (“But finally, mosquitoes are still worse than lice!”)
What is it? Each player puts his cards (which include figures) in front of him so as to create a grid. Each turn, he can play a card to realign the lines or columns. The objective: to create combinations and cancel cards of the same adjacent value.
Our opinion: This game recalls the dynamics of the bestseller SkyWith an appreciable variation (that of the gap), which gives way less to luck and more to the strategy. The game is easy to learn, but our brains then overheat to find the right tactic. It’s both captivating and fun!
What is it? In this little card game, we try to fill a taco with different garnishes (which are worth a number of points) with our hand. But it must not be overflowed (exceeds 11), under penalty of having to harvest the whole taco. When you create a perfect taco (11 points), you give it to the player of his choice. Special cards spice up everything: “legendary taco” to transform any taco into legendary taco and “taco solo” to send a legendary taco to a player or to reset a taco in preparation.
Our opinion: This easy game that is easy to learn and play is very nice, full of twists and turns thanks to special cards.
What is it? This little card game asks us to mimic the Ninja techniques involved and type on the central card before the other players. Observation, concentration, speed and reflexes are necessary and the situation can very quickly overturn.
Our opinion: Atmosphere guaranteed! This hyper-facile little game to play is both dynamic and funny, with its combinations of improbable gestures. Ninja fruits energetic cards set the tone.
What is it? In this card game for 2 teams (or 2 players), our goal is to have more visible chicks. Each team has 3 piles of chicks in front of it and a pick of cards of its color. The cards carry chicks and a number of 1 to 8: one can put a card only on a card having a value of 1 more or less. At the top, we trigger a timer (not included, for example on a smartphone) … and we hide it! Each in turn, the players of each team draw a card with them and place it on one of the visible batteries: at home or at the opponent. But beware, you have to stop before the end of the 60 seconds!
Our opinion: The game is very simple, fast, funny and dynamic, as are all the games of the Exploding Kitten brand. Not to see the flow of time makes things incredibly spicy: you have to know how to stop neither too early, nor too late.
What is it? This little game, invites us to show observation, concentration and speed: each player reveals one of his cards and indicates who has the most eggs (you, me, we, you, no one?) Depending on the color of it and the eggs it represents. When there is equality, we type on a small egg with a dish that makes “Pouic”, located in the center. But that’s not all: when you return a chick card, you must announce the number of eggs in the majority color. In short, the Ciboulot heats up to Gogo!
Our opinion: This brain torture is super-luke and the pretty little egg that “pouic“ is the icing on the cake!
What is it? Each player takes a card when his turn arrives and must respect the challenge position there: touch his nose with his finger, place the card on his head, put his left elbow over the shoulder. Child’s play? Except that the challenge lasts the whole game and the cards accumulate!
Our opinion: It’s very simple, but what is it funny! You will quickly look like Mabouls!
What is it? Imagine a country/city where the categories are wacky … Here is Mamie Moule Maki! With a dice representing 20 letters, cards for the categories and a slate where to note his answers in just 2 minutes. Once the time has elapsed, for each category, everyone reveals their answer. We earn more points if no one has found the same answer. Did you want to be too original and one of your words is refuted? Defend yourself (with humor, it often goes better) so that it is validated by a majority of players.
Our opinion: A very simple and fun play that calls on our creativity.
What is it? In this little bluff and bet game, all players take a card with 2 themes. Then, everyone in turn tells an anecdote. At the end of it, the other players must estimate whether it is true or false. Players can bet tokens to strengthen their potential victory and the storyteller must guess who was mistaken about the veracity of his anecdote.
Our opinion: Ah bluff games, it often makes your heart beat faster! Even more when you choose to lie (and you have to admit that it is the funniest) looking at your friends in the white eyes. We discover real wacky stories, talents of hone workers and who knows us at your fingertips. Hyper-cool!
